At present, the per capita consumption and fiber processing volume of industrial textiles in China (27% in China and 40% in the United States and Japan in 18 years) are significantly lower than those in developed countries. As one of the directions of industrial upgrading, the development of industrial textiles can be expected. In recent years, the growth rate of industrial added value is higher than the overall, and the proportion continues to increase. The technological breakthrough and high-end of nonwovens are the future trend.
In the future, the demand for downstream medical and personal hygiene care products will increase, which will drive the continuous growth of nonwovens: 1) the penetration rate of Nonwovens in medical textiles in developed countries is high. In 2016, the penetration rate of disposable medical nonwovens in China was less than 5%, while that in North America and Japan was 70% and 40%. The demand for protective articles increased due to the epidemic, and the demand for medical nonwovens is expected to continue to grow. 2) In 18 years, the market scale of disposable personal hygiene and nursing products in China was 76.7 billion yuan, of which female hygiene products accounted for a relatively high proportion. In the future, the demand for baby diapers and adult incontinence products is expected to be released, driving the consumption of spunlaced, spunbonded and other nonwovens to increase.
