Polylactic acid (PLA) non-woven fabric, also known as PLA non-woven fabric, is a 100% biodegradable non-woven fabric. 100% from nature, 100% biodegradable, environmentally friendly, high mechanical strength, non-toxic, antibacterial, breathable, widely used in protective masks, air filtration and other fields.

According to different methods of producing non-woven fabrics, there are two types of PLA non-woven fabrics: PLA spunbond and PLA meltblown. It is favored by more and more people.

PLA fabric is environmentally friendly and has zero pollution to the earth. While spunbond and meltblown nonwovens are not. PLA non-woven fabric has remarkable biodegradability, antibacterial, flame retardant and non-allergic. It is made by non-woven machine. It is one of the best materials for making tea bags, coffee pads, tissues, medical gowns and personal hygiene products.
What is PLA nonwoven made of?
PLA is very different from PP and PET. The raw material of PLA non-woven fabric is polylactic acid. It is extracted from corn, wheat, cassava, and some other plants. PLA biodegrades very quickly. It usually takes 45 days to completely decompose into CO2 and H2O.
