The difference between PP and pet Nonwovens

Jun 30, 2021 Leave a message

PP is polypropylene raw material, namely polypropylene fiber, which belongs to thin non-woven fabric; Pet is a new polyester raw material, namely polyester fiber. There is no additive in the whole production process. It is a very excellent environmental protection product and belongs to thick non-woven fabric.

Comparison between (PP) polypropylene non-woven fabric and (PET) polyester non-woven fabric:

1. PP raw material is cheap, PET raw material is expensive. The waste of PP can be recycled and pet can not be recycled, so the cost of PP is slightly lower.

2. The high temperature resistance of PP is about 200 ℃, while that of pet is about 290 ℃.

3. Non woven fabric printing, heat transfer effect, the same width PP shrinkage, pet shrinkage small, better effect, pet more saving, less waste.

4. The tensile force, tensile force, bearing capacity and the same gram weight of PET are larger than those of PP. 65 grams of pet is equivalent to 80 grams of PP tension, tension, bearing capacity.

5. From the perspective of environmental protection, because PP is mixed with recycled PP waste, all PET chips are brand new. Pet is more environmentally friendly and hygienic than PP.
