Principle of Spunlace Consolidation Process

Mar 27, 2020 Leave a message

Spunlace (jet spray mesh) technology is a new technology developed in recent years. The principle of the technology is that a high-pressure water flow with a pressure of up to 40MPa generated by a water pump is ejected through a water needle plate water jet hole with a diameter of ≤ 0.15mm to form a water needle curtain distributed along the whole width of the fiber mesh. The water needle impacts the fiber mesh which has not been consolidated at a high speed. When the water needle penetrates the fiber mesh and passes through the fiber mesh, it reflects The fibers are entangled with each other to form nonwovens with fixed shape and certain strength. After passing through the fiber mesh, the high-pressure water flows into the filtration system for treatment and recycling. After the water content of the consolidated fiber net is dried, it becomes a spunlace product.
